I received my doctorate in psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. I was a post-doctoral fellow at The Bay Area Pain and Wellness Center in Los Gatos, California and continued to work there as a staff psychologist. My interests and experience led me to the East Bay Functional Restoration program and clinic where I work with clients individually, teach classes, and provide consultation. My interests have been to facilitate a process in which people suffering with pain can find a place of healing and can realize that having pain does not mean being condemned to a life of depression, anxiety, and inactivity. Working at clinics that specialize in helping people with pain, I have had the pleasure of seeing so many clients move forward in their lives and regain their sense of self-worth and happiness. When I am not working, I am enjoying time with friends and family or taking a walk in nature.
